Family Communication

Dad: Girls, how's your day?

Eldest daughther: Is all in my blog. Check it out and you know how "great" it is. Maybe leave me a comment.

Younger daughther: Yeah... me too.

Eldest daughther: I've added a link to my paypal, so you can transfer my allowance.

Coughing...

Every year, i will suffer from coughing every night which last like 2-3 months. And the cough is here. The elderly called it 百日咳. I prefer to call it 百夜咳, because i suffer mostly in the night and definitely half way through my sleep. Damnit... Feel like shit, the coughing is dry and sometimes i'll coughing so much it hurts my throat and my lungs seem like will pop out from my mouth. My throat will get very sensitve, no to cold air and lint. I feel terrible.... but definately better than gastric. Kekekeke....

I remembered during the post SARS period, i was coughing so much on the bus. Everybody around is moving away. The passenger in front of me was slanting forward, the passenger on my right was slanting to the right. "Hello. I don't have fever, IS just coughing..." my mind thought. Anyway, i was getting more embarrassing that i had to get off the bus and took taxi home.

By the way, as i'm typing away, i think i'm getting running nose. Sigh...

Are You Polite?

Last Thursday, I watched this talk show on Channel U, hosted by Quan Yifeng
and Xu Zhenrong. Topic is "Is Singaporean polite?". I'm not going to give my
point of view regarding this. I can only say I think I'm polite :) Gracia.
The conclusion is Singaporean is not polite and we ranked last five from I
don't know how many countries and right below Hong Kong.

I came upon this link and reminded me of the talk show. Indians are helpful
or over helpful? Judge for yourself.

Ang Mo Kio Bus Stop

Really really dreaded to go to the bus stop just out Ang Mo Kio MRT station beside the police station. Freaking lotsa people and stinks when raining and after the rain. Think the smell is from the rubbish bin, concoction of dead cigarettes, rotten food, phlgem, dung, maybe used condoms. Everyone swamped the arrived buses like honey bees, pushing and cutting queue (actually theres' no queue). The drivers refused to open the door even the passengers are all standing at the door, like goondoos and continue drive slowly to the desired spot. There's "tsk tsk" from people behind you hinting "you are too slow, can move faster or not?" or "NB.! cut me queue." Watching people chasing after bus until they finally boarded the bus or vice versa. Is too much for me to wait for the bus, is far too crowded. I feel like a barberian to push my way into damn bus. Is so... I don't know what to say. Anyway it remined me of K.L. bus stop 12 years ago, I was there like for 1 month to spend my school holiday. Totally the same, not the infrastructure, is the people.
