Bintan Trip
Just back from my Bintan Getaway Trip. It was fun but expensive cos everything goes by SGD and more expensive than Singapore. Their tax is 20%... The whole trip was 3 days 2 nights and we only wondered within the Nirwana Gardens premises. We had our 3 meals there too. We stayed at Nirwana Resort. The most cheapest and decent hotel I can find. 2 nights for 1 pax is SGD240.
Initially, we were given 2 single beds room and was so boring. Then we called requested a change of room. And this is what we got. kekeke... I accidentally deleted the photos of the room so this pic is from their website. It was totally the same. Instead of single bed, was king-size bed.
The first day we went for spa. The spa centre is at another hotel, Mayang Sari Resort so they provided a driver to drive us Mayang Sari. The spa treatment is called Tropical Java Lulur. Including tax for 2 pax is SGD336 with a private pavilion. The spa was damn relaxing and the service was good. The enviro was about peace, tranquility and zen. kekeke...

They even placed a small flower for my viewing on the floor when my face was faced down for the scrub and massage.
As we did our spa in the evening, animals start have "activities". There were frogs "singing" to us IN the pavilion. Yes! IN. Very nature lor. Have you ever heard of a bullfrog? Well.... It sounded like loud horn. Look closely.. This is a bullfrog.

A small tree frog. Also in the pavilion.
After the spa, we went for our dinner at the Kelong (part of the Nirwana Gardens). The food was fresh but taste was blah... Cold. Even the steamed rice was cold. But we had a set dinner of sharkfin, stone crab, prawn, squid etc... cost SGD70plus. So still OK.
Surprising.. my favourite of all was the fried rice from the resort's coffee house. Nicely fried. It was not sticky, can taste every single grain. And there a kick of spiciness. I love spicy food. keke...
The next day we went for the water activities. We kayaked and jet-skied... After that we went back to the hotel to relax by the pool.

The Infinity Pool
The first time I fell asleep by the pool because it was a cloudy day and there was light breeze plus i was tired from kayaking.

WHAT IS SENTOSA!!!??? Sentosa is nonsense lor.
This is what i call a beach lor. Soft sand and blue water. The water is so clear, I can see the coral when i'm kayaking and the water condition was not the best on the day. Imagine when it was in the best conditon. I can die....
